Before I became a chiropractor, I was a patient

I grew up with scoliosis, so chiropractic care was part of my life long before it was my profession. I knew what it was like to be the person on the table.

Later, as a horse rider, I came off badly enough to give myself a serious concussion. I was studying at the time, and it was a genuinely difficult stretch. Being a patient through that period is a large part of why I ended up on the other side of it.

Being pregnant taught me something similar — a useful reminder of how somebody actually feels walking through the door. Not always at their best.

Today I am a chiropractor, a horse rider, a business owner, and mum to three girls.

What holds my interest isn't the dramatic story. It's what people actually walk in wanting. Sleeping a little better. Moving a little easier. Having the energy to play with their kids.

Health isn't built in a single moment. It's the accumulation of thousands of small victories.

That belief sits at the heart of what we do here.
