A hair sample, taken at the clinic and posted to a laboratory, which reports the mineral content of the sample.
How it works
A small hair sample is taken at the clinic — from the nape of the neck, about a teaspoon's worth, cut close to the root. It is posted to InterClinical Laboratories, who have run this testing in New Zealand and Australia for over twenty years.
The laboratory measures the mineral content of the sample and returns a report covering more than thirty-six nutrient and heavy metals. Results take roughly two weeks from the day the lab receives the sample.
Arranged through the clinic rather than booked online. The hair needs to be clean and untreated, so it is worth asking us before you book if you colour it.
This reports the mineral content of a hair sample. It is not a diagnostic test, it does not identify a condition, and it does not replace blood work ordered by your doctor. If something in the report matters clinically, the next step is your GP.
